A few weeks ago I came across an amazing song called “Mercury Rising” from an artist named theMIND. I fell in love with the smooth vocals and ambient vibe of the song and would later find out it was the same artist who’s been featured on songs with my Cinematic family Kirk Knight, G Herbo, Mick Jenkins, and Nyck Caution’s project yesterday. TheMind followed up with the video for it recently and as if the song wasn’t good enough, the visual is amazing. Directed by Kid Super, the claymation used, storyline, and overall visual is one of the most beautiful I’ve seen in a while. Watch below!
