I recently had the honor of interviewing my friend & mentor, Jonathan Mannion, for Frank 151. It was an incredible experience to say the least. Jonathan is full of incredible stories and overflowing knowledge; from photographing the worlds favorite hiphop artists in the most memorable of ways to assisting the great Richard Avedon.
Jonathan grew up in Pittsburg, immersed in hiphop and now (in a way) we can’t think of our favorite hip hop artists without acknowledging that role he played in their heritage. Pretty cool!

Great interview. By the way, every time I see you in motion and hear your voice, my heart starts throbbin. I think it's love. lol. Sexxylicious :-)
Sorry for posting twice but I would also like to add that I love the way that you are humble. You don't have that "Bad b*tch" or "Too glamorous for you" type attitude. You're just real reserved and down to earth. That's very captivating. Watching this video just showed it all.
Loved this interview, loved the emphasis on how there are very talented people working behind the scenes who have helped to create these wonderful genuine visuals for/of music artist that we look so highly to. Its so important, not only for the success of music artists but those creating these visuals have influenced and still influence us/me heavily, to an extent, through the images they create. It's awesome to see interviews like this where they are given their credit. People should also give props to people like Jon even more heavily, because after all they helped mold the careers of many music artist through visuals and vice versa, of course. Yay frank 151 and yay to you for the dope interview vashtie!
Loved this interview! When can we see the Vashtie Exposed documentary you and Mannion shot in Trinidad?
