I must say, having someone pen a song about you is a huge honor. It also makes me feel a little awkward, because I’m like “Me?!” – but, hell, I’ll take the compliment and call it a day!
“Vashtie” by Tarik Adams is eloquently written, paired with an infectious melody and features a feel good hook. Long story short…this track is hot, yo. The video is also perfectly executed, featuring a Vashtie inspired curly-haired, camera toting fox.
The song “Vashtie” (ha, I had to write it again) comes off his album “Tigers & Girls”.

Nice old school beat but this video didn't have your aura. Where was the bodega shot? Where was the girl on the Brooklyn bike we all fell in love with (myspace days lol)? It felt really random like he never been to one of your parties or even follows your blog. I'm afraid he might of just used your name so his video appears in your google searches.

this is feel good! and I didn't get the vibe this song is about finding a Vashtie replica I think he's just talking about finding that creative girl and they can inspire each other! and if he just wanted google searches he would've made a song about nicki minaj and beyonce like other rappers but that's just my perspective.
