In 2009 I directed a video for legendary JUNIOR SANCHEZ which featured JOEL and BENJI MADDEN. The video would be shot in LAS VEGAS at THE PALMS BASKETBALL SUITE. It was highly anticipated to say the least. When we arrived on set, we realized the lead girl that I had imagined was no where to be found. We literally went downstairs to the lobby, casino and pool area to scour for our leading lady. JOSH MADDEN, who was styling the video, made mention that I should be the girl (because I was a more realistic pick and that it would be more of a cameo than being a video girl). I was not into the idea, but was more not into the idea of casting the wrong girl and having my work be imperfect- so at the 25th hour…I became a video chick.
