as i started out as a young director, i was also writing treatments (treatments are the video concepts) for other directors. when i was signed to BOX FRESH PICTURES, i had the chance to study alongside ANTHONY MANDLER…he’s a genius visionary. i learned a lot from just being next to him on set as he directed. not to mention, he’s killing the game right now.
when i was asked to write the concept for COMMON’S “TESTIFY”, i was smitten. i mean, the song is ill. i immediately went to work and was so excited to be apart of a collaborative effort.

Never caught the VIOLETTE line at the beginning... Clever. This is one of my favorite vids of all time. Didn't know you were apart of it. Anthony Mandler is a KING in the game.
