A few months ago a good friend of mine and hairstylist, Angela Soto asked me to be a part of 90s style creative project. The idea started off inspired by old Calvin Klein ads similar to the ones I wrote about here. Eventually, while on set, we all decided to go with a more tomboy theme and different ways to naturally feminize your tomboy style. The key is to not overdo it. Dressing more masculine doesn’t necessarily mean you need to glam up your face and hair. An easy and natural looking beauty routine works great with a tomboy style and you can always accessorize your look if you feel too understated (I love wearing my favorite gold jewelry).
The amazing photographer, Stas May captured these images that I’m absolutely in love with and really helped showcase my inner tomboy. Keep reading to see what hair and beauty products were used for these looks.

Makeup artist, Erin Parsons used Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation on my face and Baby Lips Moisturizing Lip Balm for a natural look along with a little clear gloss on my eyelids. My eyebrows were defined with the Eyestudio Brow Drama Pomade.
For my blowout with a center part, Angela Soto used Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil to keep my hair sleek with a shine.
For my curls, Angela used Oribe Super Shine Moisturizing Creme and a diffuser for added volume. You can also put your hair in twists for a looser curl.
