Just in time for the weekend, Violette New York celebrates the countries of the Caribbean with a special limited edition of the “Jump & Wave” bandana.
Vashtie shares her inspiration for the drop:
“As the daughter of Trinidadian parents, I am proud of my Caribbean heritage. Every year, I debut a capsule collection For New York’s Caribbean Carnival, which recognizes all the countries under it’s belt. Part of the culture, for some of these countries, urges one to “jump and wave” their flags during celebration. To honor all the beautiful countries, I decided to make one flag/bandana to represent us as a whole. There is also a mixtape to supplement this item…so you can jump to the music and wave the bandana!”
