SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH: Boy Babes 2009 And Beyond

This story was originally posted on October 23, 2012.

I first started a blog category titled “SCHOOL GIRL CRUSH” in 2009, which was based on crushes that I had as a youngin’. My crushee’s have ranged from fictional film characters to real life crooners, but I’m wondering…have I missed anyone? Let me know ladies (and special fellas). In the meantime, you can catch some of my favorite SCHOOL GIRL CRUSHES below!

“TOM HANSON” AKA JOHNNY DEPP June 9, 1963 – Present

BEST KNOWN FOR: Most recently, “PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN”, but let’s not forget the cult classics like “CRY BABY”, “EDWARD SCISSORHANDS”, “FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS” and “DONNIE BRASCO”.

TRIVIA: This Kentucky boy has been married 4 times, one of which was to WINONA RYDER. Although he is best known for acting, his first passion was music and it wasn’t until NICOLAS CAGE suggested he try acting that he began his film career!

SUPER CAT June 25, 1963 – Present

BEST KNOWN FOR: His irresistible dancehall tracks that can turn any stiff into a dutty-whining monster! Songs like “DON DADA”, “DOLLY MY BABY” and “DEM NO WORRY WE” with HEAVY D.

TRIVIA: He was born to an Afro-Jamaican Mother and an Indo-Jamaican Father – hubba hubba! He laid some vocals on a remix of KRISS KROSS’S “JUMP” track and was known earlier by the alias”WILD APACHE”, which was given to him by his mentor EARLY B.

JUSTIN PIERCE March 21, 1975 – July 10, 2000 (RIP)

BEST KNOWN FOR: His role as “CASPER” in the film “KIDS”

TRIVIA: This London born babe was raised in the Bronx. Born to a Welsh Mother and an Australian Father, his bad boy reputation started off screen with shoplifting and ditching school to skateboard. While skateboarding in Washington Square Park, he was discovered by Director Larry Clark who cast him in the film “KIDS”. On July 10th, 2000 Pierce was found hanging in his Bellagio Hotel Room in Las Vegas (his death was confirmed as a suicide).

JEAN-PAUL BELMONDO April 9, 1933 – Present

BEST KNOWN FOR: His role as “MICHEL POICCARD” in “A BOUT DE SOUFFLE”/”BREATHLESS” (1960)

TRIVIA: He was born just West of Paris in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine. He had a passion for boxing and football and on May 10th, 1949 in Paris, he made his amateur boxing debut when he knocked out Rene DesMarais in one round. His boxing career was brief, yet undefeated!
