Last night was insanely amazing. There was a mood in the air of pure celebratory bliss over the life and times of a man who has touched our lives and who forever changed the game. I appeared in no less than a vintage COOGI to pay homage, others wore their best NOTORIOUS B.I.G. shirts. DJ SOUL played the very best and when CLARK KENT came on, we all had a moment of silence while he spoke on the mic about his relationship with the legend.
Times are so strange these days and I find reminiscing on an era (long gone) that inspired me keeps me hopeful for the future and happy. I think we all felt the same way last night under the roof…joyful, young, sad and nostalgic. I’m grateful to have experienced that with old friends and new ones!

*RAUL LOPEZ (LUARZEPOL) and JOSE DURAN
*SABEL BOO (with the fired red and black lumberjack steez!)
*VAZ and MICHELLE (I cannot wait to kick it with your genius daughter at ANGELO’s next birthday soiree)
*SCRAM, YOUNG SCOOZLE and AMAURY
*NIGEL SYLVESTER (we better make something soon!)
*DEEMEHLOW and YOUNG SCOOZLE picked up where they last left off last month, rap battling WU-TANG. This month, it was BIGGIE and they decided the competition would happen when “GIMME THE LOOT” came on…and so it went.
*RAUL (taking the strand of hair out of his lip gloss) and DEEMEHLOW.
*OSCAR, UNCLE CLARK KENT and ME.
*RAUL adding some juice to his champagne…BANJEE!
