Here’s a big secret about me, if Scarface lives by the sword (or “swode” as he put it) then I live by my horoscope. Yeah, I’m one of those people who will ask you your sign in our first conversation just to get better insight on what kind of person you are. BUT – I am not one of THOSE people who ask you your sign and once you reveal it I say something about your signs worst trait….something that probably isn’t like you at all. I hate when people do that…its so dismissive!
Anyways…I like to read about astrology and gauge my day/week by it’s predictions. Specifically, ASTROLOGYZONE.COM by SUSAN MILLER. I’ve been checking her readings for at least 7 years now and they NEVER let me down. Not only does she give daily readings, she gives you a look at your entire month. Her writing is always compassionate and sincere…you must check it out!

I was sad for her loss, but was not in the mood to read. But, as I began to scan her post…I was sucked in. The words were written like a short film, so descriptive. She told the story of her Mothers fascinating life and loving charm, her Parents love story and her own tale of a rare illness and her commitment to learning Astrology. But you should look into your Myers-Briggs personality type Vashtie! I've always wondered which of the 16 types you are...
Basically it's psychology types that are characterized by different levels of extroversion vs. introversion, feelings vs. intuition, etc. It's SUPER accurate for the most part. It gives explanations of the vast variety of thought processes, interests, behaviors according to each type.
For me, finding out my type changed my life and I research about my type all the time.
I'm an INFP type out of the 16 personality types. I would be awesome to know which one you were Vashtie :-)

She really went in on that post. Its one of those things where you don't normally get to read how someone really feels about their parent. And as a parent it showed me how much work her mother put into loving her family. Thats the kind of love i want my children to have for me and thats the kind work I want to put into the love of my family + kids.
Thank you for sharing because though I know many Susan Miller fans, I never read her work. But reading that story opens my mind up to being an even more loving parent.
@MrMuhammed totally!!! it makes me want to (when I get there) be the best Mother that I can be. I sobbed at this amazing story. I didn't have a tight connection with my parents, although I love them and I accept the cards I was dealt - it just makes me want to be an amazing Mother myself!

Wow just finished reading it, I know am overly emotional at times but I felt like crying towards the end lol So well written and insightful. I love how she knows so many intricate details of her parents life it shows she hasn't taken for granted her elders knowledge or the fact that they won't always be here to share it. Such a great read.
@vashtie, If the type descriptions resonates with you, then it's right :) It's easy to get types mixed up at first, I thought I was different types until I really looked into which one really spoke to me. So it depends on how you relate to the correct one.

omg that story had me crying like a baby, wow i felt the love. I really wanna be a great mum like my mother is, she's so strong and warm, sometimes we clash, like two bulls in a china shop, but she is a great mum, always has my back. I pray God blesses me with children and i can be as great as mine and hers. thanks for sharing, damn it made me cry xx
That was a beautiful write up. Made me cry a lot. I think it is an amazing thing for people to still have their mother's for so many years. My mom died when I was 11 years old, so I get a little envious when I hear how girls have such an amazing relationship for many years with their mother when mine was cut so short. My dad did remarry and although I had a nice relationship with my stepmother, it just wasn't the same. And then she died a few years ago. I am now a mother to an amazing foster son and I just use everything I remember from my mother and stepmother. Okay, I need to stop crying now...Thanks for sharing this Vashtie!
