I realize, I listen to music mainly from 1987-2005. Sometimes current tracks pop up from time to time, the occasional Amy Winehouse, Clipse or Kanye. Even if it is new, “I let my tape rock til my tape popped” (side note: who remembers cassette tapes!).
I’m a creature of habit and like the oldies. I’m open to something new and different and thought about asking the people who know me best…YOU!!! Put a girl on.
Tell me what music you like and have been listening to, even if it’s your own! Post links or just list names and albums…

I like your selection ALOT.
Tapes were cool, especially those in cool colors. (purple tape?!)
And actually before I read your twitter post I saw that an artist named Zumo Kollie just released a new joint today. I like this kid alot, and I think you would to. The artwork, the aesthetic, he has a nice quality edge to him. Check it out and let me know what you think!

I'm a creature of the 80's too but it's that soul r&b that puts a smile on my face. Secret Garden-Quincy Jones, Any-E thang El Debarge, Sail on and Zoom by The Commodores, Minnie Riperton, Mariah Carey's 1st album, I could go on and on!

I'm like you, I like the older music the best. My range goes from r&b, hip hop, rap, rock, jazz, gospel, reggae to country. Even some classical. Currently stuck on Maxwell though. Bad Habits just doesn't seem to get old to me. Also been revisiting Buju Banton - Boom Bye Bye. For current music I've been playin NERD on repeat. Favorite is Hypnotize U.
