as a kid i always had kitties. it started when i was 8 years old when my best friend and i rescued this poor little kitty who was being tortured by the kids in my hood. she lured them away from it with cookies and juice from her apartment (i thought she was a rich kid, we NEVER had no juice or cookies at my place) while i kidnapped the kitten. i brought it home and my mother was not interested in cats (as she stated she was a “DOG PERSON”), but let me keep it. she quickly became a “CAT LADY”, hahaha.
i know some of you don’t like kitties…but LOOK! awwww…

Oh cute story!!
I also got a cat, actually it's a tomcat (LOL VA$HTIE YOU'RE A TOMBOY :)) and I found him when I was 9 years old (2002) in a Tunesia holiday. When my Mom first saw him, she was over the moon because of him and didn't want to let him go, cuz actually she didn't wanna have a house pat!!! So we named him "Misou" and took him with us to Vienna (Austria)!!
Now he's my BEST FRIEND and by the way he's supersmart, belief it or not he can give "paw" and "5"!!! It's a "must seen" ;) !!!
See his and my pic on MySpace: http://www.myspace.com/434675142
(I know the numbers are bugging sorry)
Cats are super cute, but they're super sneaky in my opinion. Like...they are so quiet, I'd think it'd be hard to find a cat in hiding...lol. I'm more of a "Dog Person" myself. p.s. Dog lovers should look into the SHIBA INU breed. They're Amazing!
eeeewwwwwww, litter boxes gross me out!
Anyway...I love that pic Va$htie you know I miss my cat in new york I got somebody house sitting for me...I mish my Mimi...my home boy breeds them in his backyard...hit me on myspace his name is Beast on my top 8...he ll hook you up with a kitten...holla

lol @ ya story
yea, im no kitty person BUT that cat is soooo cute
Wow that pictures is so cute...NAH WAIT..ADORABLE!
Not a cat fan but some where deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep deep..*thinks*..deep I can tolerate a kitten/cat.
I had to once politly & gently defend my cereal bowl of milk one early morning (rushing to college back then)whilst 5 hungry playful, big blue eyes kittens where trying to dip there little pink nose into my breakfast bowl.....
The best part was hearing their little paws run towards you when you open the front door & get greeted by 5 small excited, small, big blue eyes kittens...
The other was when they find ways & means to sleep near you..didn't even know they snore too :S
Or one of them falls asleep on your lap & you have to hold its head up & gently carry it to its nest....MAN.... damn it I want a KITTEN now...LOL...
I am a cat person myself; I am a proud mother of two sisters! I love when you get them small, they grow with you and adapt to you. Plus they actually work for their stay (if you know what I mean). I have had the opportunity to raise one from birth, and adopt 2 from a shelter in my itsy lifetime.
If you are thinking about getting one, I suggest the latter option as the most rewarding one. Yes they come cute when they are small (like one above), but what's cuter is when you choose save them. They appreciate you for life! It's ashame how many of them dwell in the streets.
It hard out there for a cat. =)
AWWWWWW, how cuuutte!They stink, though.
