got these fun paper clips that made my day from a sweet friend…it reminded me of FRUIT STRIPE GUM, which made me even happier. when i was little i would return bottles and cans from my house to buy candy from the bodega, since food stamps would not cover candy. (that’s when food stamps were paper and i called them “foreign money”). the gum had exotic flavors, although it only lasted for 3 minutes. i would go through 1 pack a day…oh, youth!

Just like buba-licious gum..the flavor lasts for like 2-3 minutes. I love your Chanel bracelet by the way :-)
lol best tasting gum ever, even tho the flavor only lasted like 3 seconds, the wrappers had the dope tattoos tho lol ...
You can buy these at the Economy Candy store on Rivington St. in the Lower Eastside. Whenever I'm in the area, I pop into the store and stock up on a few of them... if only the flavor was everlasting...
aw trip down memory lane, things were so much easier when we were kids! & ahh the bracelet <3
I used to love that gum....my granny used to buy it for me all the time!!
I'd have a jawful of gum by the time my mom came to pick me up from her house :D
lol, I remember those mugs.
I definitely tweeted about this some days ago AND I have a pack right now, lol. Went to the gas station and had some other gum in hand but once I saw that striped package I spazzed out. Couldn't leave without it. Rare sighting...I'll be saving the wrapper. :)
