#VashtieEatsOut: Pearl’s – Authentic Trinidadian Cuisine in Williamsburg Brooklyn.

If you’re in New York looking for authentic Trinidadian cuisine with a hip and modern twist, look no further than Pearl’s.  It opened a few years ago by John Seymour, who is also the co-owner of the ever popular Sweet Chick, and his Trinidadian wife Fallon. Named after Fallon’s grandmother, the menu offers classics T&T dishes like; Bake and Shark, Jerk Chicken, Roti and more! The cocktails are just as legit and tasty; like the Trini Rum Punch and Sorrel Shandy. Even the decor is a fun take on Trini signage and West Indian slang. You have to check it out!

Adorably designed menu!

Trini Rum Punch!

Calypso Guac & Plantain Chips.

Bake and Shark.

Vegetable Roti.

Backyard at Pearl’s. Very beautiful and peaceful on warm night!

I didn’t get to finish that Vegetable Roti. I’m still having nightmares about leaving it behind 🙁
