after the SOBE event, i hopped in a cab and made my way over to SANTOS where i would be hosting BATTLE FOR THE CROWN with ED LOVER. FREE came by also and was so cool…love that woman.
last minute, it was decided i would be judging more than hosting, which i was slightly conflicted about. i mean, we all have opinions and we all judge people – but, publicly judging people is another story. i also believe that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. anyways, there were seriously dope performers. we had to judge on ‘stage presence’, ‘appropriate lyrical content’, ‘crowd participation’, etc.
it was a tie between NOTAR, DON P and JASMINE SOLANO. the freestyled to break it and …
