it’s been a few days, but i know we are still sad about MJ’s passing. friday night, THE OPEN PARTY dedicated the sound waves to our recently departed “KING OF POP”. i think the best way to honor someone’s memory is to celebrate their lives and so we did! the crowd was extremely ecstatic in celebrating all the hits this man cranked out. i normally don’t dance…but, had no choice when i heard the music.

Ive been watching Michael Jackson videos and listening to his music all weekend. Even at the gym, they played his music so I worked out to his music Saturday and Sunday. Not as sad today as I had been the last few days. Celebrating his life helped me and seems to help others. Still feels like I lost a close family member though.
Damn im still sad but happy at the same time, it's wierd. I agree with London i feel like ive lost a family member too. I've been kind of obsessed with MJ since i was a baby, I have an obsessive nature sometimes lol. i would drive my mum crazy on how much i played his music day and night, watch his video and live shows. I've basically been doing the same thing to celebrate his life, watching and playing MJ music but in over over over drive lol. All my fav male singers have gone Marvin Gaye, Luther Vandross and now Mj!. Im glad you guys represented!

I remember doing the thriller choreography one year for a dance benefit my dance school put on. i had to be in 7th grade maybe???? but it was soo fun, we watch the video a gazillion times, really trying to learn the steps! I also use to be scared of the thriller video when i was younger, of course my big bros made me believe Mike was a real vampire out to get only me.. lol
I'm still so sad!!! It's so weird, the day after Michael died I didn't want to do something! It was so strange!
