day three was sure to be getting much more fun. we had scheduled breakfast at BREAKFAST SHED, which apparently was an actual shed back in the day – but since the country loved it so much the government gave it it’s own outdoor dining area that faces the water.

*i ran into my cousin KESTER who is from FLANIGAN TOWN (the country). we had a meeting at 2pm in CHAGUANAS with the rest of my cousins and he happened to see me as he was walking to meet me!

we made it to CHAUGUANAS to meet my dad’s side of the family. they were my introduction to TRINIDAD and i love them so much. they’re so funny and crazy and always take care of me. when i showed up with THEO and friends, they made sure they were also taken care of.

it was fun, but we bounced early to catch the love of my life – THE DOUBLES MAN. there were so many funny things happening…
all these white kids showed up barefoot and no shirts (gross). the dread in line got mad at them because they were trying to cut the line and acted like they owned the place. he went off and told them “you bareback, i’ll drink ya blood…ya muddacunt”. we all had a good laugh…
later some crazy dude flipped over the doubles man tray, probably because he ran out of doubles. he told the doubles man he would shoot him and then we all decided to bounce. fun times!

I think zoo animals look sad too. I don't see how the workers can be around them everyday without wanting to do some "open gate" operation and let them go free. A few years ago, I was in the Poconos and wanted to go horseback riding, but couldn't bring myself to do it because the horse looked so damn depressed...here I was trying to sit on his back and kick him in the stomach while he carried me around for sheer pleasure...
