Tonight was a double wammy. I had to support TARGET and the screening of their short film “FALLING FOR YOU” at 7pm, but I also had to kick it at Paper Magazine’s 8th Annual Nightlife Awards which was starting at 8pm. There was a bit of run-around, but being surrounded by great friends made it worthwhile – YOUNG SCOOZLE, ELLE CLAY & SABEL BOO.

Let me first say, I had no idea what to expect with Target’s Short Film screening. As we rolled up, it was definitely magnificently executed as all Target events are. Shortly upon arriving, the film came on and we watched in excitement. BUT, what we weren’t expecting was a continuation of the film from silver screen into real life!!! Trapeze artists were literally falling from the sky. Acrobats were on stage, changing into Target pieces and doing intricate dances on wires! It was really wonderful…I teared up, no joke. It was amazing. It says a lot about Target to put on such a show, so many big brands would never care to do something so creative and wild! (NOTE: My photos and text don’t do it justice, it was incredible!)
