In 2007, as a couple friends and I walked home from Canal Street, we stumbled upon a scene that was out of something like “MAD MAX” or “I AM LEGEND”.
An NYC TAXI had crashed into scaffolding and it seemed as though no one was around as we approached the crime scene. I miss New York City nights like these…they were so exciting.

I miss some of the random nights of NYC. how one organically leads to the next thing. before you know it, you are looking back at an amazing night.
also, some of the pre-Giuliani days when the city was a little more unsafe but had tons more grit and personality.

Just one lone cop car...which probably stopped in the middle of the street because they dropped their donut (stereotype I know), not really to investigate the accident! :-)
