(my life couldn’t be anymore random, but exciting nonetheless).
for most, SUNDAY nights are best spent at home. but, for local NEW YORKERS – partying is best done on non-weekend days. weekend days are loved by non-locals who come to the city and wreck havoc. they love places that have bottle service, velvet ropes and doormen with more issues than the OPRAH show. i’m not saying that ALL non-locals are bad people, because they aren’t…just the loud, ready to fight for no reason ones. just being honest 😉
anyways. sunday night i visited WOODROW’s party at HOME SWEET HOME with OSCAR and STEPHEN. got a text from LUPE who just landed and was interested in hanging out. we met him at THE COFFEE SHOP (where i worked when i was at The School Of Visual Arts and just never went back one day because i hated it so much).
here’s how it went…
*MAKE IT RAIN? OSCAR has an app for that…seriously.
+++++
somehow after dinner the plan was GOLD BAR. i was apprehensive becuase i don’t do well at that place due to a previous altercation, but OSAR was down so we went…
*they inspect you like you’re coming to ELLIS ISLAND. it’s hilarious though and being with these guys made it funnier because they all had no ego and a great sense of humor. very rare!
*midnight marauding mountain climbers. KENNA, LUPE and EMILE HIRSCH
*we had fun with all the “extra-ness” around us and decided to have fun and imitate it….standing on couches and singing along to…to…? actually, i had no idea what the DJ was playing. i’m out of touch with new music, due to apathetic tendencies.
