VASHTIE

The lovely folks at Grey Goose invited the stars from the Grey Goose Cherry Noir Commercial (which yes, includes me) for a Private Dinner before their big event all happening at the Gansevoort. A black SUV came to scoop me and I was on my way to hang with old friends and with new friends. I came dressed in a no-name vintage dress, vintage boots, and a Genevieve Jones clutch.

I think my look is best represented with this tagline: “Don Draper’s Brown-Skinned Mistress on LSD”.

At my table was none other than the lovely hostess KELLY ROWLAND. She was “sweet as punch” as my dear friend Karl Justin would say. She was very kind and had some great stories and even better jokes! I didn’t get a picture with her, but I guarantee you she was stunning. Also at the table, DEE & RICKY, ANGIE MARTINEZ, JESSICA WHITE, PHIL GRIFFIN (The Cherry Noir Director), and more!!! Here’s how the night went…

Everything on the menu was meat and dairy and since I don’t eat either, the Chef whipped me up some fantastic Vegan options!!!

This dish looks confusing, but it was grilled figs with a Cherry reduction!!! It looks weird, but it was BOMB!!! Cherry Bomb!!!

After dinner we headed up to the roof for the big soiree…

Later that evening, I wiggled out of my drag look into something more…ME! Supreme Button Up, Cheap Monday Jeans, Vans OTW kicks, and a Vintage Chanel bag that holds only Krink Markers and Stickers.

Then I met up with YOUNG SCOOZLE, NATE (PUMA) and BOBBY WALTHZER for some fun and to support the homies HODGY & LEFT BRAIN and their group – MELLOW HYPE! It was super fun, but I hate seeing new hipsters who think they can just jump in the pit and imitate the “moshing” they see on TV. Just please go to a hardcore show and take one good lesson.

Anyways, HODGY and LEFT BRAIN are so sweet and adorable – and TALENTED!!! It was nice to check out their show.
