wow. david dunlap of the new york times, said it best, that new york has become a "growing big-box monotony". so long are the mom and pop stores that provided new york with its character and uniqueness. regretfully, they've all been replaced with common and boring stores that happily sell nothing but expensive "conscious capitalism" to further feed the dominating group of shallow folks that love to overindulge in their need for conspicuous consumption. Minus the cultural references or influences of their purchases. The old new york had bigger causes and reasons for its behavior. There was always a story behind it. A good story too. Now, the stories, its characters and even scenes are disapearring. My only question is, where's the new new york going to be- if at all?
how effortlessly cute are you guys!
