Last night I was honored by DJ’ing a set for the BUSHMILLS “SINCE WAY BACK” soiree (yes, DJ’ing…but I might call it “playing music” since I’d rather not insult real DJ’s). My look for the evening was “VIVIAN” from PRETTY WOMAN…90’s HOOKER is what I do best.
In honor of Theophilus, his birthday, and starring in the latest BUSHMILLS campaign – we partied hard body! My set was at 10PM, smack dab in the middle of NICK CATCHDUBS (FOOL’S GOLD) and ADAM PAVAO (NEW LOOK). I played a solid 90’s set – some Brandy, Missy, Mary J. Blige, Total and then went into some Folk Implosion, Talking Heads, Arthur Russell, Deee-Lite and then finished with some Super Cat, Chaka Demus & Pliers. At 1030, cupcakes were brought out for the birthday boy and we sang him the birthday song.

I had a blast and was surrounded by some great friends, supporting as always – thanks to STEPHEN BARR, ELLE, HYUN KIM, JOHN PAUL BELLE, OSCAR, RAUL and JEN PHAN!!! Thanks to BUSHMILLS and the lovely folks at THE FADER for having me and THEOPHILUS for doing what it do!
