4. To spend time with family and “lime” (trans: chill and party) while eating some of the best food in the world!
Last night a special screening of the mini-doc was held at MANNION’S STUDIO, which was epic in itself…his work is a never-ending monstrosity. Despite this mini-doc being amazing because I had already watched the edit twice before, I was super petrified knowing others would see it. It’s an in depth and personal interview and I share pieces of myself in it, that I normally don’t.  I walked in visibly nervous and I didn’t know what to expect…

She introduced herself to me and I was like “Girl, I know who you are. I watch every season of ANTM”. It’s true. I don’t watch much TV, but I really get into the show…
After the screening I was asked to speak which was mortifying. Not only did my dear friends and perfect strangers just see me on camera sharing more than I’ve ever shared with most people, I now had to speak?! I rambled and probably made no sense because I was so nervous, but I was glad I spoke. Afterwards, many people came up to me and shared similar stories like mine…which made me feel better. It’s been like therapy in a way.
