just found this photo on my laptop from when I was in TRINIDAD. I was happy as a clam awaking on my first day in the mother land. Half asleep from partying the night before, wearing the complimentary hotel robe and taking it all in. I turned on the water in the bath tub and walked away for a few moments to iChat with friends stuck in the blistering NYC cold, only to hear water crashing on the bathroom floor.

this is me on the phone with the front desk trying to explain why this AMERICAN fool let the water run over. I was prepared for some “licks” aka an “ass whooping”, but then I remembered I was a hotel guest.
