i love business like TOMS SHOES. for every pair you buy, a pair is donated to a child in need. i’ve love this style, despite my inner hood self knowing i would be called “BRUCE LEROY” if i wore them in the wrong area.
getting a facial at MAMIES is like getting the best facial by a funny auntie that tells you good stories and advice while extracting dirt from your pores. what could be better than that? i’ve been seeing MAMIE for about 5 years now. when i first came to her i was using bar soap on my face like a dude and had no idea that people of color needed to wear sunblock – she put me in check!

I have a question, what do you do/put in your hair for it to look like that? It's beautiful I might add :) I have the same hairtype as you but for my curls to look decent i have to wash it everyday and even though I do that my curls get frizzy during the day. Can't you do a post about it or send me an e-mail if you have time?

I need to be introduced to this Miss Mamie, though... I still use Dial bar soap "like a dude" & I definitely don't wear sunblock. Now I have these dark tan marks that make me look like I have highhh cheekbones on steroids (it would be cute, but they're so oddly located on my cheek! :/), and idk how to get rid of 'em :(.

I LOVE Mamie's Day Spa! I've been there three times, "lucked out" on getting her on all occasions and though I'm sure she never remembers my face (I go like once a year), she talks to me like we're old friends!
