Steve Nash is the man. Period. We became friends in about 2008 and aside from being a regular, nice, cool dude, he always invites me out to participate in his STEVE NASH FOUNDATION’S SHOWDOWN IN CHINATOWN (NYC) soccer game – which is always fun. This year was as entertaining as ever with pro basketball players on the soccer field; Steve Nash, Grant Hill, Leandro Barbosa, Tony Parker, Raja Bell, Jared Dudley, Marcin Gortat, Claudio Reyna, Martin Nash and more. It was also nice to see the athletes meeting the kids and signing autographs!
*Steve Nash making goals…
*Super cute!!!
*ARON (DIME) and YOUNG SCOOZLE AKA SCOTT WILLIAMS
++++++++++
After the game was a the afterparty, which took place at BAR BASQUE. It was a delightful celebration which had Q-TIP on the 1’s and 2’s, so I felt right at home.
*I had the STEVE-TINI, but not in a Martini glass – I had mine in a normal person glass.
*Projecting on the wall outside from BAR BASQUE was a slide show of the STEVE NASH FOUNDATION.
*3 SCOTTS – NICO SCOTT, SCOTT WILLIAMS & SANSHO SCOTT
*NICO SCOTT, SCOTT WILLIAMS, LANDRY FIELDS (KNICKS) & SANSHO SCOTT.
*LANDRY FIELDS & VASHTIE.
***Being a girl and trying to speak to a famous dude on a professional level can suck. In my head a girl will automatically look like a bird. I wanted Landry to know that I love the Knicks without sounding like a groupie, but I’m not sure he understood. I told him I was a New Yorker and also the first girl to design a Jordan as I scrambled for proper professional facts about myself, but I think he had no idea what I was talking about and probably thought I bedazzled a pair of sneakers and passed it off as a “collaboration”. Oh well…
