As I walked out of a cafe, I heard a very serious voice say “VASHTIE?”. My back was turned as I was about to cross the street, and somehow assumed I was in trouble. In the few seconds it took me to turn around I had to think to myself “Vashtie, did you steal something or forget to pay” – I know, I’m a fool. When I turned around I was met by a tall  fellow. He asked “Are you Vashtie?” in a subtle German accent. For some reason I was still nervous. Was I about to be served with a subpoena like in the movies? I replied hesitantly, “Yes?”. He went on to speak…”I read your blog and I’m visiting from Berlin. I’m here with my girlfriend.”

I was relieved, but I’m still confused why I was so shook. I meet blog readers all the time from all over the place. Anyways…he told me his name was MARTIN and that his girlfriend, SENAIT, was in the cafe and I told him to go get her. Her stunning self walked out and they looked so adorable next to each other – I had to take a picture. Thanks for the support SENAIT & MARTIN!
