day two and my itinerary for the trip was super hectic, as ANTILIA had organized a jam packed trip in order for us to make the most of it. the only problem was, it looked like we wouldn’t be able to leave the hotel all day as there were many interviews happening there. when THEOPHILUS arrived, we made a plan to make it to CHAGUANAS where the everyday people were…selling doubles, mix CD’s, riding in MAXI’s (which is a minivan taxi full of people).

*hotel food was great! but, eating TRINIDADIAN food only seems right when some older TRINI woman with a motherly attitude serves it to you and the food stains your nails yellow.
